I support leaders to get to the heart of their challenge and by facilitating shifts in their mindset and behavior. I do this by designing and facilitating culture transformation and leadership development programs, and helping improve the effectiveness of individual leaders and leadership teams.
I believe that if we do what is true to us and what we are most passionate about, we bring out our Greatness and make the best possible contribution to our teams, organizations and the world at large.
Clients often tell me that I bring a powerful blend of sharp structuring and analytics combined with deep empathy, care and sensitivity.
I started my career at Unilever, where I held a range of management roles in manufacturing and supply chain. I subsequently worked for six years at McKinsey & Company, leading international strategy projects and designing and facilitating company–wide transformational change programs.
I hold a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology in Delft (1999). I have a strong interest in psychology and spirituality, which has led me, among other things, to spend two years studying Psychology at the University of Leiden and to be certified as transformational coach at the MMS Institute and as a transformational facilitator by Gita Bellin and Associates.
I am blessed with a great family with my wife Manon, our son Daan and our daughter Liza. Above all, they are my biggest passion in life. Together we moved to Singapore in October 2015, for me to set up Aberkyn South East Asia. I love travelling, yoga and kite surfing and enjoy having great food with family and friends.
