‘Reconnect and remember what you might have forgotten’. Convinced that the world is a better place when leaders connect with their ‘essence’ I facilitate systemic work with horses to support individuals and groups to understand what drives their leadership and behavior.
With their prey instincts and hypersensitive awareness, horses size people up instantly and accurately. During the equine assisted workshops, the focus lies on both personal and organizational potential for growth of individuals and teams. The feedback we receive tells us time and again that the learning and changes are sustainable.
During my 24–year career at a Big4 audit company, of which 9 years as Client Partner, I led various assignments in former conflict areas. I worked with businesses and non–profit organizations in challenging circumstances in countries like Afghanistan, Haiti and Somalia. I studied in the Netherlands, Costa Rica and France. Along the way, I have met many inspiring people, heard some unforgettable stories, and learned a lot about myself. All these experiences have made me who I am, and they are all valuable in my work as a systemic coach and facilitator.
I live in Amsterdam with my husband Kees and our daughter and son. My passions include outdoor sports, spending time in nature and with my family. I am voluntary board member for Skateistan and Mama Cash to make a difference in the lives of girls around the world.
