A possibilist, a believer in what is possible, I bring clarity in complexity and challenge. I trust the capability leaders have and see their potential. I welcome and hold tensions as doors to creative opening and expansion. When movement is created, I like to get practical.

My understanding of leadership and the inner dynamics of organizations come from 30 years in business, in leadership roles in the chemical and life sciences industry, and from working across industries as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and, since 2008, as a leadership expert. I led Aberkyn in the Middle East and since have been expanding my focus to public sector clients.

I share my life between living on the seaside in Haarlem, The Netherlands, with my teenage daughter, and the Taunus mountains in Germany, with my partner Susanne, with whom I explore the emerging field of deep dialogue in collectively traumatized environments.
