My main focus is developing senior leadership teams. This involves designing and facilitating off–site meetings, coaching senior leaders, facilitating leadership development and creating in–company learning programs for groups of executives that help reshape the company’s culture.
I combine strategic thinking and hands–on business experience with insight into what drives people and their interactions. My mission is to transform people so they can be fully themselves and bring all their personal qualities to the table.
Clients often describe me as someone who is very open, brings calm, and instills trust in a group. I create a safe learning space where clients come to important personal insights and deepen their working relationships with each other.
My work experiences started as an entrepreneur, leading a family business in plastics and metals manufacturing. After my MBA, I moved into strategy consulting with Monitor Group in Amsterdam, Istanbul, and New York. Following my passion to focus on organizational development, I became Managing Director of a firm that provides organisational diagnostic tools and dialogue processes facilitated through the internet. I have lived and worked in three continents and speak French and Spanish, in addition to Dutch, German, and English.
I earned a BBA from Nyenrode University (1985) and an MBA from INSEAD (1995). More recently, I studied Integrative Psychology and Bio–Energetics at ITIP, where I now co–lead one of the programs.
I am married to Sharon (who is of Trinidadian and Spanish descent) and we have three young children and live in Boston, USA. I love spending time with my family, traveling, and playing jazz piano. I am an avid sailor, and have restored and maintained classic yachts. I also practice ashtanga yoga.
