I have maintained a thriving and diverse coaching practice with thirty years of outstanding experience in supporting my clients. As I focus on inspiring professionals to be the best leaders they can be, especially in the face of chaos, adversity and an ever-changing work landscape, I end up dedicating a large portion of my career to helping individuals and teams have greater impact without having to work harder or put in longer hours. We achieve this together, by shifting our moods intentionally, leading to more courageous conversations and the delivery of bigger and bigger promises.
I have coached and developed leaders at all levels of organizations from business owners and the C-suite to mid-level managers and line workers, in multi-national corporations and in fortune 100 companies. As a veteran of the armed forces and a trainer to active duty combat soldiers, I also have a special affinity for working with our men and women in uniform. As an executive coach and psychologist with a degree in transpersonal psychology, I hold that accountability, focusing on a cost based analysis and driving business outcomes are equally as important as mindfulness, personal health and finding deep meaning at work.
I am a professionally certified coach (PCC) with the international Coach Federation (ICF) and I hold certifications in the Leadership Circle 360° Profile, the iEQ9 Enneagram Assessment and in Agile program management. I also hold current licensure as a professional counselor.
I have been a senior program presenter in an ontological Coach training school since 2006 (NewfieldAsia), training students globally to do the work which is so near and dear to my heart.
A recent accomplishment is the publishing of my first book: “Stop Controlling, Start Leading. 27 Secrets for Effective Leadership at Work, Home and Play.”
In addition to loving my work, I am blessed to live in Colorado with my wife of 27 years and our two lovely teenage daughters. I am a 25-year yoga fanatic, I love trampoline wall-running, martial arts and playing afro-Cuban music with a band that I have been apart of for 20 years. When none of that works, the best way for me to get a smile on my face is the occasional jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
