My life’s work is dedicated to coaching and facilitating leaders and their teams to navigate challenging marketplace and world issues.
My approach encourages individuals to develop leadership skills and capabilities which increases trust, reduces power issues, and builds skills to relate more effectively. Some of my most meaningful work has been to facilitate teams struggling with entrenched conflict. I have designed group dialogue processes which, in numerous and diverse settings, has resulted in unique and collaborative solutions.
In my 25 years of experience, I have been privileged to work with middle managers, executives, and senior leadership teams of Fortune 500 companies, non–profit organizations, spiritual groups, school, and universities. Along with my MA in Mindfulness–based Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, my expertise has been honed by working beside leadership pioneer Stephen R. Covey (author of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”) as a senior consultant and facilitator. Also, I was an organizing member of a two–year experiential community with M. Scott Peck (author of “The Road Less Travelled”). Further, I am a specialist in community development and civic engagement utilizing the work of Peter Block and Otto Scharmer’s Theory U Process.
As a resident of Boulder, Colorado, I spend my free time hiking, performing music, reading, and traveling. I began meditating at the age of 12, and am engaged in Qigong and energy practices. I am a lifelong learner, and frequently I am reading several books at the same time.
