I bring my training in psychotherapy to business, chiseling back to the core that inspires you and your organization, challenging at a deep level and landing it in the practical world. I will engage with you in somatic learning, reframing your intellectual evaluations, systemic thinking and relational synergy.

I have been told that I bring an unusual combination of applying business and psychology theory, delivered in a way that relaxes ego defenses, using somatic wisdom and creating emotional intelligence. Clients appreciate the breadth of my ‘tool kit’ and my commitment to them as people.

Before Aberkyn I have worked at the most senior level bringing executive coaching, bespoke leadership programmes and team synergy designs to market leading companies, through my own business. I founded and am Director of a charity (www.lifecentre.uk.com), have worked within the NHS and privately as a Psychotherapist. I started my career as a secondary school teacher.

I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist, with core training in Systemic therapy and all the foundational humanistic psychologies: Gestalt, Rogerian, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, specializing in trauma therapy. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education, Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling & Therapy and Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am trained in Bioenergetics Personality Profiling as well as in using Strengthsfinder.

Beyond Aberkyn: To replenish I am inspired by nature and am privileged to live surrounded by its beauty. I love to run with my black labrador who I constantly lose but she always knows the way home when she is ready. Pilates is my antidote to too much computer time, and evenings watching box sets with my two kiddults and my husband keeps me appreciating all that we can take for granted.
